Every once in a while I'll go through a country phase. When the wife and I drove out to Nashville earlier this summer, we listened to country on the radio. We found a really good station up near Asheville and listened to it as long as we could.
On the way home we dialed into it again. We both decided that it sated our need for a while and we haven't turned into any of the local stations.
Stephanie: There's nothing wrong with country music that can't be fixed by wailing electric guitars, pounding basses, and drum kits that spin the drummer upside-down in concert. You'd do well to remember that, young Padawan learner.

I have a similar thing but with me it's opera and kiwis.
I'll tolerate country music if - and only if - I am in Nashville. Hell, I even went to the Country Music Hall of Fame when I was there.
